Well two things are official, and one is more exciting then the other. First of all as you can see from above, I have finally received my official Florida teaching certificate. It is a new feeling to be legit. I wonder if the kids will notice :) Secondly, my dear friends Nan and Jeremy are expecting a boy! Andrew Leyton (they are pretty sure about his name and they will call him Leyton) is on his way and is loud and proud about it. I had lunch with them after the ultrasound and got to see the pictures in person- wow those things are crazy. If you want to read more about it or see the pictures go to http://nan-knight.blogspot.com. I am so happy for both of them, they are going to have a son! Wow! Two years ago today I got to marry the love of my life. We had a whirlwind courtship and a very quick engagement (9 months total to be exact) and to date it is the best decision that I have ever made. It is great to know that everyday regardless of the challenges or happiness that faces us, we have each other to lean on and to share it with. I love you Jamie and cannot wait to see what is to come.

After our walk tonight Jamie and I were planning our Calendar for the next few weeks and enjoying some Wii fun (we have a Wii Fit, my birthday present from Jamie, but that is a whole other post) and when I realized that Piper had been missing for quiet some time. She generally stays pretty close to us while we are in the house, or at least close enough to come galloping at you when she is called. However, tonight I called her a few times and she did not turn up- no galloping, not even a slow meander. So, I left my calendar and “Perreault Family Secretary” position at the coffee table in search of our MIA puppy. I found her passed out in front of the fan in the office and couldn’t resist snapping a few shots, she didn’t budge for any of it. I suppose the excitement of all of her visitors today and her longer than usual walk was just too much for her, what a tough life.
Well for those of you that don’t know, I have been tossing around the idea of starting my own Photography company for quite some time, and I think that I am finally going to take the plunge. However, that leaves me with a rather large dilemma, what am I going to call this company of mine?!?! I am seriously looking for suggestions, from anyone that has one. Jamie and I have come up with only one contender, Perreault Photography. However it might be best to choose something that people can spell and pronounce. Let me know what you think, especially you Nan, I need something that will look good on a business card.

The wedding that we went to this past weekend was beautiful, despite the rain and the bugs. Jamie has been friends with Charlie (the groom) since first grade, yes that is 22 years for those of you doing the math. Charlie and Sarah planned for the ceremony and part of the reception to be held outside in a beautiful state park located next to very pretty bay off of the coast in Destin, Florida. They are brave people I know, I would never have the courage to plan an outdoor wedding. When the rain persisted they moved everything into the pavilion, a building on the grounds that resembled a huge screened-in porch. Everything was beautiful, especially the bride. The rain stopped long enough for pictures to be taken outside and for there to be dancing held on the outdoor dance floor. Jamie has posted the rest of the photos on his Picasa website, if you want to take a look click here http://picasaweb.google.com/james.perreault/JorgensenWedding Sadly, Charlie and Sarah have relocated to Hendersonville TN, near Nashville, and we don’t know when we will be able to see them. Although I know that we will be in touch; the older I get and the more our dear friends move away the more I realize that true friendships survives the distances between them.
