Flash back to April 2013… I have recently had a few spare moments and was able to go through some older photos. These were taken before Charlie got his first haircut; look at those sweet baby curls….
We occasionally give the boys popsicles in the bath tub (when they have them). The clean up is much easier than it is at the table and as an added bonus they slide all over the tub when they eat them and giggle like crazy.
By the way, Eddy’s Real Fruit popsicles are pretty amazing especially the coconut ones. Grab some at publix when they are BOGO and you will thank me ;)
The trains are by far Jay’s favorite part of bath time these days. He and Daddy “drive” them all around the edge of the tub over and over again. Seriously, with every trek across there is squeals and splashes of excitement.
We certainly do not have a full on walker by any means but our little Jay Bird has spread his wings and taken his first few steps! I still continue to think that he won’t really and truly walk until he is really sure he can- he is a very deliberate little boy, just like his Daddy, but we are excited none the less AND Daddy was home to see them too! I don’t have any pictures to show for it. We instead were simply enjoying the moment with him; but, I do have this super cute video to share instead. It has a little bit of everything from the last few weeks. A little laughing, a little playing with Daddy, a little dancing and a little bit of “old man” walker action. He was so tickled that he could push Aunt Martha’s old stool around the office- check out that proud grin!
Jamie and I went on a date, we’ve visited with Nicole (who’s in town from NC) with her boyfriend Jeremiah, went to the WP farmers market, put together Jamie’s new grill, played in the park after lunch, read in the hammock outside, played with Jay in the hammock after his nap, played in the dirt (Jay did), walked and played with the animals just to name a few things. See I told you, blissful!
Enjoy the pics- I don’t have any from the farmers market since I forgot the memory card :-( I even made Jamie run back to the car to grab the (empty) camera- he carried a really nice shoulder accessory the whole time we were there.
warning: excessive amount of pictures below :-)
