Kisses are something that are given frequently around this house and Piper is no exception. She and Jay were hanging out the other day after his Duke photo shoot and you can tell from the pictures below that they have certainly adjusted well to each other. By the way for all of you concerned Mamas out there, I did clean Jay off after his kisses :-)

that you had as wonderful of a weekend as we did!

We lounged around…

We spent time with friends and family…

We cooked and ate a bunch…

We snoozed…

and snoozed some more…

We hung out in the hammock…

We went for our first stroller ride…

1st stroller ride — btw- Jay hates the car seat and therefore the stroller too. This picture was taken after he was taken out, calmed down, fell asleep and then put back in.

I have been told from time to time that people like to watch basketball. Being from Canada I am not sure that I will ever fully understand this obsession; however, we did see last night’s victory as a perfect time to debut the first in our line of collegiate apparel. Congrats Dukies (not sure if that is an actual name or just a Vickers-ism) on your win last night!!

there’s a tongue in there!! A few weeks ago Jay found his tongue. It’s like one day he woke up and realized that there was something in his mouth that moved, or rather something in there that he could move. Ever since then he has been sticking it out and moving it around frequently. It’s cute now but later it might not be…

these ones don’t have any tongue action going on but they are cute just the same :-)
